365 Doodles - Day 62

One final set of pictures from Henhwedhlow and then, hopefully, back to proper doodling tomorrow. These first two are from the story The Curse of Kitto's Cats.
This third one is another illustration of the monstrously pompous Mrs Trezilian and her amazing wigs (see a few days ago for a full colour pic of her fireworks display).

And this final one is my take on The Mermaid of Zennor; Morveren the mermaid. Being me, there's a twist in the tail that involves her being properly adapted to life in the sea and her paramour Mathey Trewelha having eyesight so bad he couldn't see his own feet. They were made for each other.

The book is now for sale on Amazon I see with translator Tony Hak quite rightly credited as joint author. So he should be. He did a magnificent job. as I may have told you before, this book is now the most substantial piece of modern Cornish writing anywhere.

Go us.

These are not doodles! These are not doodles! (Looks at notepad. Quietly begins to sob.)
