Okay, Colgan, have you taken a large, really weird leap of faith from your position as stated in your long, long post of October 31st, 2008? (Or do you just need a smack on your fitti noonah?)

As a life-long Unitarian Universalist theist, I know I should make an attempt to talk to the octopus, but I hate that feeling of the water rushing up my nose....

Persephone, CG, Punky - I'm so so sorry but I had to post these. Have you had a look at www.tarvu.com? Oh, you should! It's so easy to join ...

Okay, I'm not quite sure what he's up to yet ... but Brit comedian and writer Robert Popper appears to have founded his own religion. Robert created two wonderful series for the BBC called Look around you that spoofed schools programmes from the 1970s and popular science shows from the 80s. He's also acted as script editor on a number of shows including The IT Crowd and Peep Show. Then, under the pseudonym of Robin Cooper, he wrote three bestselling books - The Timewaster Letters (and sequel) and The Timewaster diaries in which we follow Cooper's bizarre world of imagination, fantasy and illogic. Wonderful books. And now this.

But Tarvuism is in direct contradiction of the Pastafarian belief....this is very disturbing to true belivers of The Flying Spagheitti Monster like me.

Ah Hannah! I know all about this! See my previous post here. The truth is, as Persephone points out, all forms of belief and religion are equal in my eyes ... I don't believe a word of any of them.
