I'll have to write more stuff involving boobies ...

Well-known Oscar Wilde impersonator and Dandy-about-town John Soanes has notified me that I am, apparently, somewhat less masculine than I thought I was. And he's the one with the girly hair.

There's a website called Gender Analyzer (click here to have a look) that checks your site and reports back whether it thinks it was created by a man or a woman. This blog came back with a 63% likelihood that it was written by a woman. I'm obviously in touch with my feminine side.

I feel like a little cry now.

Ooooh... I took that test a long time ago... twice. I submitted two different pieces of writing and was told I was a woman with the first one and a man with the second. Interesting, hmmmm?

PS... I write about boobies sometimes. My boobies. 'Cause, truly, I'm not interested in anyone else's.

Don't feel bad Stevyn. Apparently there's a 73% chance mine was written by a guy.

Maybe it's the decor. :)

Oh dear. But I wonder what the criteria are...

My blog came back with this result: We think http://punkinwriting.blogspot.com/ is written by a man (73%).

And I've written recent posts on Vintage Hairstyling and being in touch with my inner cowgirl. Bah!

I'm quite happy with mine, it says http://hannah42.blogspot.com/ is "probably" written by someone with boobies, but is quite "gender neutral" about it. So, I guess thats good then.
I wonder how they work it out?

Mine is apparently 53% likely to have been written by a man, but it also says TMC is 'quite gender neutral'. Clearly all those years as one of Her Majesty's servants has had a greater effect than I realised.

Happy non-denominational, gender-neutral winter festival!

Oh, what madness have I started? I feel like Victor Frankenstein (whilst you, my friend, presumably feel like Elizabeth)...

Interesting. Clearly, I AM a woman. Phew!

my (old blog) came up 88% woman - which is probably about right...

Marie Phillips posted this at her blog yesterday, so it's rapidly making the rounds. My blog is, apparently, "quite gender-neutral". Does this mean it's balanced? Or wishy-washy?

Dear all - thanks for the comments and your honesty. I'm not sure if we're all gender-confused or whether the website in question is just rubbish!

What can all be sure of is that it's all John Soanes' fault. Feel free to pelt his blog with vile abuse.

I think we're probably all pretty gender certain. Could the site be gender confused?!

But we can't disappoint Stevyn. Gather up your vile abuse! Move on to John Soanes' blog.

I'm 59% but it says my blog was probably written by a man (the name Jon in the site address might have given that away!) Fun though!

Bugger, mine came back with 95% woman. Guess I'd better start growing a beard…

Ho ho ... loving these comments! Joel - is there something you're not telling us? Maybe you're a lesbian trapped in a man's body? That's why you like women but write like one! It's a theory ... fnar.

Maybe we just need to swap blogs, as despite the obvious clue in the title I am 56% likely to be a man!! Or gender neutral, which is alittle more worrying I think!

Steve,
maybe you're right:)

That's right, you unsuspecting fools, expend your rage and confusion onto the internet! My e-motion-capture machine will soon be fully charged, and you shall ALL see my power!

Yours, whoo-ha-ha-haaa,

J

Stevyn, isn’t this a bit like with the mouse drawing?:)
Btw, I am 54% man, but quiet gender neutral. Go figure.:P
