The name of the pub or the signature dish?

Debby will appreciate this with her wilderness diet ...

And how is food served 'all day' if only between 12pm and 9pm?

Stevyn,

I blogged a LONG time ago about one of my pet-peeves in the UK - that "24 hours" isn't 24 hours.

Our local Tesco has a huge sign proclaiming that they are open 24 hours. Then below are their real opening hours. (Shaking head in confusion...) What the heck does 24 hours mean, then?

Good photo. I'll take a pass on the "sizzling red squirrel", though. I'm not into wilderness diets myself.

Perhaps this is why there are so few of the little blighters around. Is this pub perchance owned by The Greys?

I have actually tasted squirrel and it was very nice - rather like rabbit. And, of course, it was one of those pesky alien American greys that have come over here and displaced the resident red squirrels. And now we have the American signal crayfish in our rivers killing off our native crustaceans. It's a takeover!!!

haha! that's exactly what I said, "All day? Really?"

Katie et al - precisely. Obviously this pub exists in a temporal bubble where 'all day' lasts 9 hours.

As far as your red squirrels...oh. You can have all of them back. Hugely destructive creatures when they get inside an attic. We much prefer our greys. Better behaved. More meat.
